Create Beyond

Focalab began as an idea in late 2023 and officially took shape in early 2024. After eight rounds of iteration and months of relentless work, our team hand-built the first optical module that became the starting point of Focalab.
From optical validation and motion architecture to real creations made on our own machine, Focalab has been built step by step to push laser engraving and cutting forward through innovation and manufacturing capability.

Trust Built Into the Product
From optical engineering to manufacturing validation, every step behind Focalab is built to deliver the consistency, reliability, and performance users can count on.
Advanced Manufacturing

Focalab operates a 5,000 m² modern manufacturing facility and has passed ISO9001 quality management system certification. We have built a complete production system covering incoming part inspection, precision assembly, and full-machine testing, supported by dedicated assembly stations, laser calibration systems, and intelligent testing platforms.

By combining disciplined processes, data-driven management, and quality control, we work to ensure every product is built consistently and delivered reliably at scale.

Optical Engineering &
Manufacturing

Focalab is one of the few laser brands with in-house capabilities across optical design, precision manufacturing, and system integration. We have built a 2,300 m² Class 100 cleanroom and equipped it with micron-level automatic coupling systems for key optical components such as FAC, SAC, PBS, and mirrors.

By designing and manufacturing critical optical components in-house, we are able to better control beam quality, alignment precision, and consistency at scale—turning optical innovation into real product performance.

Burn-In Validation

At Focalab, every optical module and every complete machine goes through strict burn-in validation and full outgoing inspection before shipment. We apply 100% burn-in testing and comprehensive final checks to identify potential issues early and reduce the risk of early-life failures.

This burn-in-plus-inspection approach reflects how seriously we take quality and user trust. It helps ensure products arrive ready to work and stable from day one.

Reliability Lab

Focalab has built a systematic reliability lab to validate every machine against real-world use. Our program includes 50+ rigorous tests covering temperature and humidity, vibration and shock, salt spray, dust exposure, and long-term durability checks for key components such as lasers, optical systems, and motion mechanisms.

Built with reference to IEC60068 and IEC60825, the lab is supported by accelerated life testing and failure analysis. For users, that means fewer failures, more stability, and greater confidence over time.

Optical Zoom: A Patent
That Changes How Laser Processing Works
One of Focalab’s core invention patents is an optical zoom system designed for laser processing. What it solves is not just a technical problem on paper, but one of the longest-standing tradeoffs in blue laser cutting: the balance between fine engraving and thick-material cutting.
Traditional systems often force users to choose between the two, or rely on hardware swaps and manual adjustments to get through different tasks. Focalab’s optical zoom patent was developed to change that.
Key Innovation
By building this capability into the optical system itself, we enable one machine to better adapt to different processing needs — supporting both high-precision engraving and stronger cutting performance without changing hardware.
For users, that means a smoother workflow, fewer compromises, and a more capable blue laser machine. For Focalab, it reflects our commitment to building core technology that translates into real product value.
