Please make sure that the email used to purchase the product at the Kickstarter must match the email used for placing the deposit.
Step 2: Head to the campaign page and pick your favorite perk and add-ons.
We will officially launch on Kickstarter soon. Every VIP member will get the purchase link via email. You can then complete your order on the Kickstarter page and select your desired reward and add-ons.
Step 3: Receive a refund.
For users who placed a deposit and backed us on Kickstarter, we’ll process a refund 14 days after the campaign ends. This ensures you get the Focalab Vario at the most favorable price.
Please note: the refund may take up to 30 days to complete due to platform regulations.
What if I change my mind after placing the deposit? Can I get a refund?
If you decide not to proceed with the purchase, you can request a refund for your deposit anytime before the project launches. Simply email supports@focalab.com using the email address when reserving your discount, and we will process your refund within 7 working days. Please note that once the products officially launch, refunds will no longer be available. Thank you for your understanding and support!
Why should I need to use the same email address to place the deposit and place an order on Kickstarter?
To ensure a smooth subscription account verification process, we will match the Kickstarter email address to our pre-order list to verify if the Kickstarter backer has placed a deposit. Please make sure that the email address that you use to place the deposit order matches your Kickstarter account’s email address.
Are the Focalab sets shipped worldwide?
Yes, we offer worldwide shipping. Please note that we cannot deliver to military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO) or P.O. Boxes. We will collect your detailed shipping information via a survey after the campaign concludes.
Is there a quantity limit for the deposit discount?
Please note that each deposit is valid for one Focalab set only. If you plan to purchase two or more sets, please make separate deposits for each unit.
When will the Focalab sets be officially launched and shipped?
We are scheduled to officially launch the Focalab Vario in Q2 2026 and ship the units in July 2026. Please rest assured that we will keep you updated in a timely manner via email if there are any changes
